A placebo-controlled clinical study involved 76 women of Asian and European origin. The participants took 5 g of fish-derived collagen peptides daily or placebo, and skin elasticity and wrinkle volume around the eyes were measured at the start of the study, after 4 and 8 weeks of supplementation, and additionally 4 weeks after its completion. After just 4 weeks, a statistically significant improvement in skin elasticity was recorded compared with the placebo group (p<0.05), and the effect persisted both after 8 weeks and after the end of supplementation [3]. Improvement was observed in participants of both Asian and European origin.
WRINKLE REDUCTION
In the same study, a statistically significant reduction in the volume of wrinkles around the eyes was also recorded – after 8 weeks of supplementation, it amounted to 15% compared with the baseline value, and the effect was also confirmed after the supplementation period ended [3].
The study used 5 g of VERISOL® collagen peptides daily. One serving of COLLAROSE FISH 10 000 MG provides twice the amount of VERISOL® peptides.
